Unterbüscherhof is a village in the town of Leichlingen (Rhineland) in the Rheinisch-Bergisch district that emerged from a court .

Location and description

Unterbüscherhof is east of the center of Leichlingen above the Weltersbach . Today, the place forms a common area with the Ufer residential areas and the Holzerhof located on the K6 district road. Schüddig , which was a mill site , is in the immediate vicinity of the Weltersbach itself .

Other neighboring towns are Sieferhof , Krähwinkel , Wilhelmstal , Metzholz , Schneppenpohl , Krabbenhäuschen , Weltersbach , Heeg , Hinterberg , Paulinenhof , Claasholz and Oberbüscherhof .

history

The map Topographia Ducatus Montani from 1715 shows a farm under the name Vorenbusch . In the 18th century, the place belonged to the parish of Leichlingen in the Bergisches Amt Miselohe . The topographical survey of the Rhineland from 1824 and the Prussian first survey from 1844 both record the place as Unter Büscherhof . Unterbüscherhof was located in the Leichlingen area right on the border with the parish Witzhelden, which formed its own mayor's office and community from 1845 to 1974 .

In 1815/16 there were 35 people living in the village. In 1832 Unterbüscherhof belonged to the mayor's office in Leichlingen . The place, which was categorized as a court town according to the statistics and topography of the Düsseldorf administrative district , had nine residential buildings and five agricultural buildings at the time. At that time, 61 people lived in the village, six of them Catholic and 55 Protestant.

In the municipality lexicon for the Rhineland province in 1885, 14 houses with 50 inhabitants are given. In 1895 the place had twelve houses with 49 inhabitants, in 1905 eleven houses and 44 inhabitants.
