history

The Topographia Ducatus Montani map from 1715 shows the farm under the name Hegge . In the 18th century, the place belonged to the parish of Leichlingen in the Bergisches Amt Miselohe . The topographical record of the Rhineland from 1824 and the Prussian first record from 1844 record the place unlabeled or as a Heg .

In 1815/16 there were eleven residents in the village. In 1832 Heeg belonged to the mayor's office in Leichlingen . The place, which was categorized as a court town according to the statistics and topography of the Düsseldorf administrative district , had two residential buildings and four agricultural buildings at that time. At that time, 14 residents lived in the village, all of whom were Protestant.

In the municipality lexicon for the Rhineland province in 1885, three houses with seven inhabitants are given. In 1895 the place had three houses with twelve inhabitants, in 1905 two houses and seven inhabitants.

The courtyard buildings were demolished in the 1970s and a building of the Diakoniewerk was built over, which in turn gave way to the care center at the beginning of the 21st century.
