Zeit is a court in the town of Leichlingen (Rhineland) in the Rheinisch-Bergisches Kreis .

Location and description

Zeit is located southeast of the center of Leichlingen on a low ridge between the Weltersbach and the Murbach , which also forms the border with Leverkusen . State road 294 passes the village. Neighboring places are Junkersholz , Stöcken , Rosenthal , Sonne , Wietschermühle and Wietsche on Leichlinger and Pattscheid on Leverkusen's urban area.

The map Topographia Ducatus Montani from 1715 shows the farm under the name adZeit . In the 18th century, the place belonged to the parish of Leichlingen in the Bergisches Amt Miselohe . The topographical recording of the Rhineland from 1824 lists the courtyard as Auf der Zeit , the Prussian first recording from 1844 shows the courtyard unlabelled.

1832 belonged to the mayor's office Leichlingen . The place, which was categorized as a court town according to the statistics and topography of the Düsseldorf administrative district , had two residential buildings and an agricultural building at that time. At that time there were 12 people living in the village, all of whom were Protestant.

In the municipality lexicon for the Rhineland province in 1885, two houses with nine inhabitants are given. In 1895 the place had two houses with ten residents, in 1905 two houses and ten residents.
