history

The map Topographia Ducatus Montani from 1715 shows the farm under the name Roderhof . In the 18th century, the place belonged to the parish of Leichlingen in the Bergisches Amt Miselohe . The topographical survey of the Rhineland from 1824 and the Prussian first survey from 1844 both record the place as Raderhof .

In 1815/16 there were 22 residents in the village. In 1832 Raderhof belonged to the parish Witzhelden of the mayor's office of Burscheid under the name Rohderhoff . The place, which was categorized as a court town according to the statistics and topography of the Düsseldorf administrative district , had four residential houses and six agricultural buildings at that time and 19 residents lived in the place, all of whom were Protestant.

Due to the municipal code for the Rhine province, the parish of Witzhelden received the status of a municipality in 1845, left the Burscheid mayor and formed its own mayor's office from 1850 onwards . In the municipality lexicon for the Rhineland province in 1885, four houses with 21 inhabitants are given. In 1895 the place had four houses with 21 inhabitants, in 1905 three houses and 24 inhabitants.

On January 1, 1975, the community of Witzhelden and thus also the Raderhof was incorporated into Leichlingen.
