Neukrähwinkel is a settlement in the town of Leichlingen (Rhineland) in the Rheinisch-Bergisches Kreis .

Location and description

Neukrähwinkel is located on the L294 state road southwest of Witzhelden on a ridge between the valleys of the Wersbach and the Weltersbach , which is also called the Krähwinkeler Bach in the upper reaches. In addition to Witzhelden , neighboring towns are Krähwinkel , Wilhelmstal , Richtershof , Windfoche , Tyrol , Krabbenhäuschen , Schneppenpohl , Metzholz , Schüddig , Sieferhof , Holzerhof , Ufer , Wersbach , Eichen on Leichlinger and Paffenlöh , Oberwietsche and Unterwietsche in Burscheider urban area. history

Neukrähwinkel is a split from the neighboring Krähwinkel on the other side of the Weltersbach and was only created in the 19th century. The topographical photo of the Rhineland from 1824 shows no development, the Prussian first photo from 1844 shows individual houses on the Weltersbach south of Unterkrähwinkel without any labels. This settlement core, which belongs to the municipality and mayor's office of Witzhelden , gradually grew in the 20th century and was mainly built with single-family houses. The access roads in the settlement were for flowers ( Lilienweg , Asternweg , Tulpenweg , Rosenweg , Dahlienweg , Nelkenweg , Anemonenweg named).

On January 1, 1975, the community of Witzhelden was incorporated into Leichlingen with Neukrähwinkel.
