Location and description
Koltershäuschen is located east of the center of Leichlingen on a ridge between the Murbach and the Weltersbach on Landesstrasse 294 near the city limits of Leverkusen and Burscheid .

The Topographia Ducatus Montani map from 1715 shows the farm under the name Koltershüsg . In the 18th century, the place belonged to the parish of Leichlingen in the Bergisches Amt Miselohe . The topographical survey of the Rhineland from 1824 and the Prussian first survey from 1844 both record the place as a Koltershäuschen .
In 1815/16 six people lived in the village. In 1832 Koltershäuschen belonged to the mayor's office in Leichlingen . The place, which was categorized as a court town according to the statistics and topography of the Düsseldorf administrative district , had two residential buildings and two agricultural buildings at that time. At that time, eleven residents lived in the village, all of whom were Protestant.
