Bremersheide is located east of the center of Leichlingen on a ridge between the Murbach and the Weltersbach north of the state road 294 near the city limits of Leverkusen and Burscheid . The Topographia Ducatus Montani map from 1715 shows four farms under the name Bremersheid . In the 18th century, the place belonged to the parish of Leichlingen in the Bergisches Amt Miselohe . In 1815/16 there were 64 people living in the village. In 1832 Bremersheide belonged to the mayor's office in Leichlingen .
