Sune Folkesson

Sune Folkesson (* in the 12th century; † 1247 ) was the son of Folke Birgersson .

According to the annals of the monastery in Vreta, Sune is said to have robbed Helena Sverkersdotter , the daughter of King Sverker II, who died in the battle, from the monastery after the battle of Gestilren in 1210 and then married.

In 2008 the director Peter Flinth filmed the Götaland trilogy by Jan Guillou under the title Arn - The Crusader . Sune Folkesson was portrayed by Nijas Ørnbak-Fjeldmose .
