The Superbrowsergame Award (SBG) was the first major annual competition for browser games and was organized by Gamesdynamite. More rarely, the competition was also called Super Browser Game (SBS) . The games first had to qualify for participation in a nomination phase. The nominated games were evaluated in several phases by a jury and the community and lasted several weeks. It was organized for the first time in 2005, making it the first comprehensive competition for the rapidly growing browser games industry. The competition was closed in 2008 without giving any reason.
