Super kilen
The Superkilen is a public facility in the Nørrebro district of the Danish capital Copenhagen . The three hectare park was created until 2012.
Superkilen consists of three parts:
- a red place to relax with cafes and music,
- People meet in the black courtyard to chat and have a barbecue
- and the naturally kept green park.
Superkilen caters to the needs of 62 different nations living in this part of Copenhagen. To implement this concept, specific planning objects such as benches, rubbish bins, trees, playgrounds, manhole covers and signage from other countries were integrated. For example, landscape architects from the Berlin office TOPOTEK 1 were involved in the planning and Landi benches from Switzerland were installed.
