Suprabha Beckjord

Suprabha beckjord (Schechter) (* 21st February 1956 ) is an American Ultramarathon - runner from Washington, DC She is the owner of a gift shop and a student of the Indian guru Sri Chinmoy .

Career and records

In 1986 Beckjord started her first 7 km run. Her first marathon was the Inspiration Marathon in Vermont . She is the only woman who finished the longest certified run in the world, the Self-Transcendence 3100 Mile Race , as the winner every year until 2009 .
