The Surp Haç Tıbrevank Ermeni Lisesi (Holy Cross High School) is a private high school in Üsküdar , Istanbul . In the meantime it was also a theological seminar. It belongs to the Patriarchate of Constantinople of the Armenian Apostolic Church .

The school was founded in 1678 as a teaching institution of the Armenian Church Surp Haç and was re-established in 1860 by a Ferman from the Ottoman Sultan Abdülmecid I. In 1953 the school was reconstituted as a secondary school, a grammar school and a three-year theological seminar. The theological seminary was dissolved on July 26, 1967 by Decree 3517 of the Ministry of Education. The school is located in the Asian district of Üsküdar .

In the accession negotiations with Turkey, the European Union put the subject of the reopening of the university in connection with obstacles to the free practice of religion by Christians in Turkey on the list of demands made on the candidate country, the Republic of Turkey.
