history

Surteco AG was created in 2000 through the merger of the listed Bausch + Linnemann AG - a manufacturer of paper-based furniture coatings - and the Döllken Group, which manufactures plastic-based products. Bausch + Linnemann AG, in turn, emerged in 1998 from the listed Bausch AG and Linnemann GmbH + Co. KG, Sassenberg .

In 2007, Surteco changed its name to a European Company (SE).

At the end of 2013, Surteco took over the Süddekor Group, a manufacturer of paper-based coatings with 770 employees and annual sales of 228 million euros.

In 2018 the company changed its company name to Surteco Group SE . The renaming is part of a reorganization in which the three subsidiaries BauschLinnemann GmbH , Döllken-Kunststoffverarbeitung GmbH and Surteco Decor GmbH will be merged into a new Surteco GmbH .
