Surveyor of the Queen's Pictures
The Surveyor of the Queen's / King's Pictures is responsible for the upkeep and upkeep of the Royal Collection within the royal household of the monarch of Great Britain . This includes all works of art owned by the head of state in his official capacity. The office has existed since 1625.
