Susanne Hiller

Susanne Hiller (* 1979 in Hamburg ) is a German stage and costume designer .

Life

From 2001 Hiller studied stage and costume design at the Hochschule für Gestaltung Offenbach am Main and at the Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst Zürich, which she graduated with honors in 2006. In the same year she was awarded the “Offenbacher Löwe” young stage design prize for her diploma project BLACK BOX, theater for eight remote-controlled robots .

From 2007 she worked alongside Johannes Schütz at the Schauspielhaus Zurich and the Deutsches Theater Berlin as an assistant and as a freelance stage and costume designer, among others at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Ballhaus Naunynstrasse Berlin, Schauspiel Frankfurt, Schauspielhaus Wien, Landestheater Linz, at the Stuttgart State Theater, the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe and the Ingolstadt Theater.

At the Augsburg Theater she was responsible for the set design for Brecht's Mr. Puntila and his servant Matti , Der kleine Vampir , Die Räuber , Israel, mon amour , Verrücktes Blut and several jtt performances.

She also designed the costumes for The Cherry Orchard , The Investigation and The Dirty Hands .
