Susanne Wess

Susanne Wess (born September 14, 1968 in Munich ) is a German journalist and author of travel and gastronomy guides.

Life

Susanne Wess was born on September 14, 1968 in Munich and lived for a long time in Veneto , Rome and on the Amalfi Coast. She completed her translation studies in Munich and Verona and speaks Italian, Spanish, English and French.

After many years of activity in various TV, print and online editorial offices, she has been working freelance since 1999. Her topics are travel, sport, gastronomy, lifestyle and wine.

Susanne Wess writes articles for the daily newspapers tz , the magazines ADAC Reisemagazin, Reisen exclusiv, DelikatEssen, Myself, in Asia, Emotion, Vital, Ärztliches Journal and Alps as well as for the online portals Sonoitalia and Gourmetfreak. Until the end of 2019, Wess also wrote for the daily newspaper Die Welt Kompakt .

As an author, she has made a name for herself with various travel and hotel guides. In 2018 Susanne Wess took over the German editor-in-chief of the glossy magazine Luxos based in Milan.
