Susanne zur Nieden

Susanne zur Nieden (* 1958 ) is a German historian and Germanist.

Life

Susanne Zur Nieden studied history at the Friedrich Meinecke Institute of the Free University of Berlin and was awarded a Dr. phil. PhD . She researches and publishes on the history of National Socialism and the history of sexuality with a focus on homosexuality. In 2003 she was a visiting scientist in the Max Planck Society's research program "History of the Kaiser Wilhelm Society under National Socialism". Until the end of 2011 she worked as a lecturer at the Center for Interdisciplinary Women and Gender Studies at the TU Berlin .
