Suspekt is a Danish hip hop group from Albertslund .

Band history

In the late 1990s, producer Rune Rask and rappers Bai-D and Orgi-E founded the hip-hop group Suspekt in a suburb of the Danish capital, Copenhagen . Their first album named after the group was released in 1999, but it was not until 2003, as a quartet with Troo.LS, that they had their first success with the album Ingen slukker The Stars , which entered the Danish charts . The breakthrough came in 2007 with the third album Prima nocte and the single Fuck af! , which both entered the top 10 of the respective charts.

Two years later, the four teamed up with rapper Liam O'Connor alias LOC for the project Selvmord . Together they reached number 1 on the single and album charts. Although Troo.LS left Suspekt for a solo career, the remaining members continued as a trio and made it to the top of the chart in 2011. First the song Klaus Pagh entered the singles chart at number 1 in May , and four months later the associated album Elektra reached the top of the charts . It was also awarded platinum . The following two studio albums V (2014) and 100% Jesus (2017) also came in first.
