The Sussex Spaniel is a British dog breed recognized by the FCI ( No. 127, Gr.8, Sec.2 ).

description

The Sussex Spaniel is a browsing dog that can grow up to 41 cm and weigh around 23 kg. The body is strong, long and muscular and has a stocky and straight back. Its rolling gait, which is unusual for spaniels, is characteristic. The legs are rather short and the tail is set low. The Sussex Spaniel has a drooping snout.

This dog's coat is lush, moderately long, and silky. It lies smoothly on the body and is slightly longer on the ears, legs, rump and tail. The undercoat is very dense. The color of the hair is golden liver, towards the tips it becomes more golden.

This breed's eyes are hazel-colored with a gentle look. In the past, the tail of the Sussex Spaniel was always docked, but nowadays, uncut rods are also permitted.

The Sussex Spaniel is friendly and lively and energetic. The ability to work is given to him by nature.
