The Sustainable Performance Group AG , based in Zurich, is a Swiss investment company .

In accordance with the principle of sustainability, it invests in small and medium-sized, predominantly listed , international companies with a focus on the investment topics of energy , water , health and resource efficiency . As of mid-2008, the market value of the around 50 holdings was CHF 262.9 million. The company is listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange .

The Sustainable Performance Group was founded in 1997 by Swiss Re , the Volkart Group and SAM Sustainable Asset Management . In the same year, the company was floated on the stock exchange, thus diversifying the shareholder base. Today institutional investors hold around two thirds and private investors around one third of the share capital.
