Susu ( Soussou , Sosokui ) is the language of the Susu from Guinea , West Africa .

It belongs to the Mande language family .

Susu is one of the national languages of Guinea and is mainly spoken in the coastal regions of the country. The language also serves as the language of commerce nationwide in Guinea. With more than 155,000 native speakers (as of 2015) it is also widespread in neighboring Sierra Leone and is also spoken locally in Guinea-Bissau .

Susu is very similar to the Yalunka language .
