Susy Leiva

Susy Leiva (born August 31, 1933 in Mendoza , Argentina , † October 4, 1966 in Santa Fe de la Vera Cruz , Argentina) was a popular tango singer and actress. She was one of the favorite singers of the composer Mariano Mores . The recording of the tango "Frente al mar" by Mores gave Leiva her breakthrough. With her short and young career, she is considered one of the most successful female tango voices of the 1960s .

Leiva has appeared in various films. She also went on numerous tours in South America . While on tour, she died in a car accident at the age of 33.
