Svatováclavské nakladatelství (also Dědictví sv. Václava German publishing house of St. Wenceslas or heir to St. Wenceslas ) was a Czech publishing house that was directed against the reformers. It was founded by the Jesuit Matěj Václav Šteyer and his mother Marie Šteyerová in Prague in 1669 . In the more than one hundred years of its existence up to 1790, more than 80,000 Czech books were published. Most of them were Catholic scriptures.
