Sveinung Kirkelund (born September 21, 1960 ) is a former Norwegian ski jumper .

Kirkelund jumped for the first time on March 2, 1980 in the ski jumping World Cup and was able to win his first World Cup point in ski flying in Vikersund with 15th place. With this one point he was at the end of the 1979/80 World Cup season in 99th place in the World Cup season. The following year he competed in a total of three World Cup competitions, including two ski flying competitions in Ironwood . His best result there was a 5th place. At the end of the 1980/81 season he finished 35th in the overall standings. Despite this success, it was the last active World Cup season in Kirkelund, who ended his active ski jumping career in 1981 at the age of only 20.
