Sven Lindman

Sven "Svenne" Lindman (born April 19, 1942 ) is a former Swedish football player .

career

Lindman started playing football at Ormsjö IF Uven before the midfielder moved to Djurgårdens IF . With the club he became Swedish champion in 1966. In 1968 he signed a two-year contract with Rapid Vienna . In 1969 he won the Austrian Cup with the team. However, he felt uncomfortable at the club and returned to DIF after just one season in Sweden . In 1980 he ended his career after 312 games in the Allsvenskan and 49 first division clubs.

Lindman was on the field for Sweden 21 times . With the country selection, he took part in the 1974 World Cup.
