Svenne & Lotta

Svenne & Lotta were a Swedish singing duo from the late 1960s to the early 1970s, consisting of Svenne Hedlund (* 1945) and his American wife Charlotte Jean Walker, known as Lotta (* March 1, 1944).

Career

Hedlund was the singer and front man of the Swedish rock band Hep Stars before that . Svenne & Lotta were signed to Polar Music and were produced by former ABBA members Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson . The duo often sang Swedish versions of well-known ABBA titles. So also in 1975: Svenne & Lotta took part in the Swedish preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest with the Swedish song Bang en Boomerang composed by Andersson and Ulvaeus , while ABBA at the same time in the Stockholm Polar Studios the song in English as Bang-a-Boomerang for the album "ABBA" released in April 1975 recorded.
