Sven Ove "Svenne" Hedlund (born March 1, 1945 ) is a Swedish rock and pop singer.
Career
In the 1960s, Hedlund was the singer and front man of the Swedish rock band “The Hep Stars” , which was quite successful in Scandinavia at the time and which Benny Andersson used to belong to. In 1969 Hedlund left "The Hep Stars" and toured the Swedish folk parks with the two later ABBA members Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus as well as his American wife Charlotte Jean Walker (born March 1, 1944), known as "Lotta". From 1970 he formed together with his wife Lotta the singing duo Svenne & Lotta , which was successful in Sweden at the time , which was at Polar Music was under contract and was produced by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus.
