Svenska Academies (band)
Svenska Akademien is a hip-hop and reggae group from Sweden that was founded in 1999 by Carl-Martin Vikingsson, Simon Vikokel and Kristoffer Hellman in Landskrona , Sweden .
Although some consider their music to be politically left-wing and green , the band explains on their website: "Svenska Akademien does not have its own ideology, or any kind of manifesto that has been adopted by the members."
other projects
Carl-Martin Vikingsson has released a solo album called "Sture Alléns Dansorkester". In addition, the singer from Svenska Akademien, Ivan Olausson-Klatil ("General Knas"), released a solo album in June 2006 with the title "Äntligen har rikaomanniskor fått det bättre" ("Finally rich people have it better") .
Bengt Andersson Film produced the short film Sture (2007), a portrait about Sture Allén dy A documentary about Svenska Academies entitled "... om sakernas tillstånd" premiered at the 2008 Gothenburg Film Festival.
