Sveriges rikes lay

The Law of the Swedish Empire ( Swedish Sveriges Rikes Lag ) is a Swedish code of law that is published annually by Norstedts Juridik .

The code contains a selection of laws and ordinances of the Svensk författningssamling , which are considered to be important for the general interest. A retired member of the Supreme Court is always responsible as the editor ; since 2011 this is Johan Munck . The code has been published in its current form since 1861. However, as early as 1736, the then Reich historiographer Jacob Wilde published a copy with the same title after the Swedish Reichstag had commissioned it in 1734.
