Swamp Terrorists are a Bern- based Swiss electro-industrial band that was founded in the late 1980s. The band initially consisted of STR (programming), Ane H (vocals) and Francis H (guitar), who left the band in 1989.

The band's trademark are hard electro beats mixed with (mostly sampled) guitar riffs.

After the release of the album "Combat Shock" in 1994, the band was joined by bassist Andrej A, guitarist Spring and drummer Piet Hertig, especially with regard to the upcoming live performances. 1995 founding member STR left the band and was replaced by ND for the live performances. Among other things, the band was able to book successful performances in Japan, which resulted in the live EP "Five in Japan", which was released in 1997. After the final compilation "Rare & Unreleased", things became quiet around the end of the millennium.
