Swiss engineering
Swiss Engineering STV (formerly the Swiss Technical Association, STV) is a Swiss professional association . It was founded on December 10, 1905 by graduates of what were then "Technika" in Burgdorf , Winterthur and Biel and today, with 13,000 members, it is the largest professional association of qualified engineers and architects in Switzerland (graduates of former HTL graduates and FH and ETH graduates ). The two main tasks of this professional association are, on the one hand, to represent the interests of the profession and, on the other hand, to offer services for members (e.g. salary recommendations, legal advice, specialist magazines, network events).
The association is a member of the Federation of European National Engineering Associations .
