Syed Rahim Nabi (born December 14, 1985 in Kolkata ) is an Indian football player . He has been playing for the Indian national team since 2004 .

Career

Emerging from the Tata Football Academy , Syed Nabi first played for two years at the Mohammedan Sporting Club . In 2004 he moved to the Indian champions East Bengal Club . There the defender became a top performer and team captain and made the leap into the national team. Nabi is considered to be flexible and can be used in any position.
