Sylke Meyerhuber

Sylke Meyerhuber (* 1964 in Bremen ) is a German psychologist .

Life

Sylke Meyerhuber studied psychology at the University of Bremen from 1988 to 1995 with a focus on industrial and organizational psychology as well as feminist clinical psychology. From 1992 to 1995 she completed additional training in systemic family therapy and counseling. She then worked from 1996 to 2011 as a research assistant at the Institute for Psychology and Social Research in the “Human and Health Sciences” department at the University of Bremen. In 2000 she completed her doctorate there with a thesis on transparency in work organizations - the basics of an interactionist elaboration from a work and organizational psychological perspective . From 2004 to 2010 Meyerhuber was also involved as a founding member and lecturer in the master’s training course for executives, “Master of Leadership and Organizational Development”. Since 2011 she has been working as a social, work and organizational psychologist at the artec Sustainability Research Center.

Research priorities

Meyerhuber is currently researching, among other things, socially sustainable action in organizations, identity and organizations in transition, occupational and health psychology, the delimitation of work and leadership.
