Sylvain Georges (born May 1, 1984 in Beaumont ) is a French road cyclist .

Sylvain Georges started his career in 2008 with the Cypriot Continental Team A-Style Somn . After he did not achieve any significant results there, he switched to the nationally registered team Creusot Cyclisme. In his first year there, he won the one-day races Souvenir Vietto-Gianello, Grand Prix de Peymeinade, Grand Prix de Vougy and Circuit des monts du Livradois. He also won a stage each at the Circuit de Saône-et-Loire, the Boucles de la Marne and the CRA Super 7 Cycle Series. At the Tour de Maurice he was able to win four sections and thus also win the overall standings. In 2010, Georges was successful in the Tour des Communes de la Vallée du Bedat, in a stage of the Circuit de Saône-et-Loire and in part of the Tour de Franche Comté Cycliste. He has been driving for the French Continental Team Big Mat-Auber 93 since 2011 . In his first season there, he won two stages and the overall standings at the Rhône-Alpes Isère Tour .

At the Giro d'Italia 2013 , Georges tested positive for heptaminol . He was then fired from his team and suspended from the French Cycling Federation for six months for doping .
