Sylvia Koegler

Sylvia Kögler (born December 26, 1971 in Neunkirchen ) is an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ). Kögler was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 2006 to 2010 .

Life

Kögler attended the Federal Commercial Academy in Neunkirchen and, after graduating from high school, studied business administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. She completed her studies in 1996 with the academic degree Mag. And began her professional career in 1996 as assistant to the management of the Renner Institute, which she took over in 2003.

Kögler lives in Ober-Danegg , she is married and has one son.

politics

In the political field, Kögler was initially involved in the socialist youth before she was a councilor in Grafenbach-St. Valentin took up her first political mandate. In 2002, Kögler was promoted to executive councilor, and in 2002 she became vice mayor. Kögler has held the office of mayor since 2010. In June 2010 she was also elected chairwoman of the SPÖ community representatives in Lower Austria. Kögler represented the SPÖ in the state parliament from January 26, 2006, replacing the late SPÖ mandate Herbert Kautz in the state parliament. She subsequently worked as the women's spokeswoman for the SPÖ state parliament club.
