The coat of arms of the Silesian Voivodeship shows a golden eagle without a crown on a blue background. The eagle looks to the right. The coat of arms was adopted on April 11, 2001 and is based on the historical coat of arms of Upper Silesia .

A coat of arms in a similar form was already used in the Silesian Autonomous Voivodeship .

The flag of the Silesian Voivodeship consists of three horizontal stripes. The coloring is based on the coat of arms.

The two blue stripes each take up two fifths of the flag, the gold middle stripe takes up one fifth of the flag. The aspect ratio of the flag is 5: 8.

The flag was adopted on April 11, 2001.

The historical flag of Upper Silesia consists of two horizontal stripes of equal size. The top stripe is gold, the bottom blue.

The logo consists of a graphic and the lettering with the name of the voivodeship, which can be done in several languages ​​(Polish, German, English, French or Russian). The graphic consists of four identical waves that represent an S, one wave each is yellow, green, blue and black (basic shape). The logo is very flexible and can also be displayed in one color (monochrome), two colors in gold with a blue background or in white with a yellow, green, blue or black background. In addition, secondary elements can be added.

The font " Myriad " is used for the lettering .

The logo is the oldest symbol of the new voivodeship.
