The synagogue in Kroměříž (German Kremsier ), a Czech town in the district of the same name in the Zlín region in East Moravia , was built in 1910.

history

The representative new synagogue was designed by the Viennese architect Jakob Gartner .

On the orders of the German occupiers, the synagogue was demolished in 1942 during the Second World War .

Today the culture house stands on the site of the former synagogue .

Commemoration

A memorial commemorates the city's Jewish history. It was created by the sculptor Olbram Zoubek .
