The synagogue in Újpest, the IVth district of the Hungarian capital Budapest , was built in 1885/86. The synagogue at Gergely-Berzeviczy-Straße 6 is a protected cultural monument .

The neological synagogue in the style of historicism was probably built according to plans by the architect Jakob Gartner .
