Rudolf Klein (architect)

Rudolf Klein (* 1955 in Subotica ) is a Hungarian architect and since 2005 Professor of Modern Architectural History at Szent István University , Miklós Ybl Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering in Budapest.

Rudolf Klein was an architect for a construction company from 1979 to 1985. From 1986 to 1991 he was a professor at the University of Novi Sad . From 1991 to 1993 he was visiting professor at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and in 1994 visiting scholar at the Kyoto University of Technology. From 1995 to 1997 he was visiting professor at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem . From 1996 to 2006 he was Professor of Architectural History at Tel Aviv University and since 2005 Rudolf Klein has been researching and teaching in Budapest. His research focus is the 19th and 20th centuries and especially synagogue architecture in Central Europe .
