Synagogue (Chojnice)

The synagogue in Chojnice (German Konitz ), a city in northern Poland in the Pomeranian Voivodeship , was built in the 19th century. The synagogue was at Konviktstrasse 9.
history
Violent anti-Jewish riots broke out in the early 1880s, during which the synagogue building was set on fire. At the beginning of June 1900 a crowd broke into the Konitz synagogue during riots and wreaked havoc there.
The synagogue was destroyed during the German occupation of Poland in 1939.
