Synagogue (Genthin)
The synagogue in Genthin in the district of Jerichower Land in Saxony-Anhalt was built in 1928 on the initiative of Hugo Magnus as a replacement for the synagogue at Brandenburger Straße 34, which was demolished in 1925. The new synagogue was inaugurated on October 6, 1928. The synagogue building was sold in 1936 and converted into a residential building in 1937.
The cubic brick building was built according to plans by the architect Walter Pomplun and is a protected cultural monument . The profaned synagogue is at Dattelner Strasse 19.
