The synagogue in Jablonec nad Nisou (German Gablonz an der Neisse ), a town in Northern Bohemia ( Liberecký kraj ) in the Czech Republic , was built in 1891/92. The former synagogue was destroyed by the National Socialists in 1938 .

history

The synagogue was built in Moorish style according to plans by the Viennese architect Wilhelm Stiassny . It had about 160 places for the men and about 130 places were in the women's gallery .

During the November pogrom in 1938 , the synagogue building was demolished and then burned down.
