The synagogue in Naples , capital of the Italian region of Campania , is located in the Palazzo Sessa , at 31 Vico Santa Maria a Cappella Vecchia street in the Chiaia district .

The synagogue was set up in 1864 with the support of Adolphe Carl von Rothschild (1823-1900), son of Carl Mayer von Rothschild , and Samuele Salomone Weil .
