Chiaia is the 2nd of the 30 districts ( Quartieri ) of the southern Italian port city of Naples . It is located by the sea and belongs to the historic center ( Centro Storico ) and one of the socio-economically affluent districts of Naples .
Geography and demography
Chiaia borders the neighboring districts of San Ferdinando , Posillipo , Fuorigrotta , Vomero and Montecalvario .
Chiaia is 2.71 square kilometers and had 39,347 inhabitants in 2009.
