The synagogue in Tučapy u Soběslavi (German Tutschap), a community in the Okres Tábor district of the Jihočeský kraj region in the Czech Republic , replaced an older prayer hall that was occupied at the end of the 17th century and that was housed in the old Jewish school from 1779 and later was dissolved. The old synagogue was built in 1779 but burned down in 1867. It was rebuilt in 1868.
