The Syrezol Rocks are cliff rocks in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . They are located 1.5 km west of Martins Head on the east side of the entrance to Admiralty Bay on King George Island .
Jean-Baptiste Charcot , head of the Fifth French Antarctic Expedition (1908-1910), named a supposed cape between Martins Head and Chabrier Rock as Cap Syrezol . The namesake is presumably a sponsor for Charcot's research trip. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee transferred the name to the rocks described here in 1960.
