criticism
Alexander Cordas wrote on Laut.de:
"JJR does not produce really sparkling ideas [...] These are easy to consume, seldom weird or unusual, are fun for a short time, but fail when it comes to making the album exciting in the long term."
Jarre's own assessment
In a 2010 interview with the French magazine Trax , Jarre retrospectively called the album a mistake:
“This album was a mistake, a stupid thing. I was having a lot of personal problems at the time, and playing around with the samples amused me. And then they were released as an album. But if I listen to it today ... well, I think you should stand by your own works, but I really wouldn't do it again. "
