Oxygène: New Master Recording is a re-recording of the instrumental studio album Oxygène by French musician Jean-Michel Jarre from 1976, available in several versions , which was released by EMI-Records on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the original worldwide release - then under the label of Disques Dreyfus November 27, 2007, first in France, later worldwide, was published.

Oxygène: New Master Recording was released in 3 different versions as Oxygène: New Master Recording ( CD ) , Oxygène: New Master Recording - Live in Your Living Room 2D ( DVD ) and Oxygène: New Master Recording - Live in Your Living Room 3D (DVD ) published. Basically the album includes a new recording of the original Oxygène. The DVDs, on the other hand, show a live performance of the pieces of music, as well as newly inserted connecting pieces, which offer a new sound experience. One version in standard 2D, the other in stereoscopic 3D. The CD is always included with both. As a bonus, the DVDs also contain information about the creation and a presentation of the original instruments by Jean-Michel Jarre.
It is worth mentioning that Jarre plays on the instruments that were already in use in 1976. In the video recording, Jarre and the supporting musicians use u. a. Eminent organs, Mellotron MK II, digital sequencers and synthesizers from various manufacturers such as Moog and ARP.
In order to promote the new recording, Jarre gave several concerts with this line-up and equipment, some of which were broadcast in selected movie theaters. From this the In> Doors tour developed in 2009 , which continued until the end of 2011 as 2010 and 2011 . Jarre mainly used the old, original instruments during this tour, which gave the concerts a special character.
