Bielecki Island

Bielecki Island is an island in the western section of the Joubin Islands in the West Antarctic Palmer Archipelago . It is located 800 m north of Trundy Island .

The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named her in 1975 after Johannes N. Bielecki (* 1936), assistant engineer on the RV Hero of the National Science Foundation on her Antarctic voyage to the Palmer station in 1968.
