Trundy Island

Trundy Island is an island in the western section of the Joubin Islands in the West Antarctic Palmer Archipelago . It is located 600 m west-northwest of Robbins Island .

The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named them in 1975 after George Benjamin Noyes Trundy (1937-2008), Able Seaman on the RV Hero of the National Science Foundation on their Antarctic voyage to Palmer Station in 1968.
